Big Break Golf

Big Break Prince Edward Island
Now in its 11th season, Golf Channel’s hit series, Big Break, features 12 aspiring golfers competing in some of the toughest golf skills challenges ever devised like, the glass-breaking contest or the intimidating flop wall challenge. But the one thing that has not changed over the past 11 seasons is the passion and determination these golfers have to turn Pro. Each week the pressure continues to build up as one bad shot could be the difference from making your dream come true and going home. Watch every week as one person is eliminated until the final two golfers left standing play against one another in 18 holes of match-play golf.

Mahone Bay

"Mahone Bay is both a postcard-perfect maritime town and an ideal base for exploring the stretch of coastline known as the South Shore." Named one of Canada's best small-town downtowns by Harrowsmith Country Life Magazine, Mahone Bay is also considered by many as one of the most beautiful towns in Canada.
Situated on a bay of more than 100 islands, our Nova Scotian town, which the New York Times calls "pretty as a picture", is a treasury of history, culture and 19th century architecture. The charming main street hosts an assortment of art galleries, specialty shops and living museums - all within an easy stroll.

Greetings from Prince Edwards Island

My cousin, William AKA "Football" may be the only other family member who knows where "PEI" is. He became famous going on the golf reality show "The Big Break", which was filmed on PEI.

About Prince Edward Island, is the smallest of the Canadian provinces both in size and population. While it is densely populated, it is not overcrowded. The Province is also called 'PEI', or simply 'The Island'. The capital city is Charlottetown. They say that to be a 'true blue' Prince Edward Islander you must be born here. Otherwise, you're 'from away'. Despite this divine right to citizenship, Islanders adopt all who come to stay and its 1.2 million annual visitors. They come to the Island to enjoy its pastoral scenery, relaxing white sandy beaches and relaxing pace. The 'Island way of life' is an often quoted and much discussed idea in Canada's small green province in the Gulf. For both Islanders and those 'from away' the quality of Life on this Island is the best. It is an ideal place to raise a family, to operate a business or to rejuvenate the mind. The way of Islanders and their lives are clearly expressed in its arts, culture and heritage. Everywhere you will find crafts, theatres, and festivals that celebrate life here on the Island.
The group is having a fantastic time enjoying delicious lobster suppers, strolling the uncrowded beaches, actually went to the golf course where William played, and have had the pleasure of visiting the places described in the story, Anne of Green Gables by Lucy Maud Montgomery.

Dad in his new rags... uh oh, What has Canada done to you?

Que ferons-nous avec vous, le papa ? S'il vous plaƮt rentrer sans la jupe!
